Catch Dubai, Seafood restaurant in Dubai

Catch Dubai, Seafood restaurant in Dubai

Catch Dubai is one of my all time fav spots in Dubai (and a celeb fav too straight from NY and LA) and I am always looking for reasons to eat here – this time the restaurant underwent a facelift and also added some new dishes to the already popular menu. Although the restaurant is known for its seafood cuisine, I was pleasantly delighted at the different options on the menu.

Vibes: The older version was an American diner feel with a lot of booths right in the center of the restaurant but the newly vamped space is more open with a communal dining area that is highlighted by three interactive stations, a central dining area, a live sushi bar and the lounge. The environment is more cozy and welcoming with street style masterpieces hung over the walls.

Menu: The new menu includes Miso marinated seabass with shiitake mushrooms wrapped in mini lettuce cups, tempura fried red snapper with red peppers and mushrooms and the ‘BG Burger’ made using prime Irish Beef topped with truffle and cooked foie gras. BUT, I must insist on some menu favorites which I order all the time – Vegetable sushi roll, Smoked Edamame, Quinoa burger for the appetizers and mains. And you also need to make a conscious effort to remember the desserts, DO NOT LEAVE without the S’mores Pizza and the ‘Hit Me’ chocolate cake that is served with ice cream and some of the best brownies I have eaten in my life! No jokes!

Price: Average cost for two people approx AED 500 – AED 700

Location: Fairmont Dubai, Sheikh Zayed Road

P.S. Did I mention Catch hosts Havana Mondays every Monday nights if you fancy a lil salsa!
