10 Iftars To Try in Dubai
With two more weeks of Ramadan to go, here are some of the Iftars that you don’t want to miss out on. Our Founder has created a Guide for some of the best ones to try in Dubai!
One of my top favorites at the restaurant seasonal tastes. Priced at AED 185, this Iftar is from sunset until 11pm and includes so many stations! The more the choices, the more exciting! From Mediterranean to a Noodles station to an Indian cuisine selection to Sushi and much more, you will feel lost for choices!
This one is another of my personal favorites because of the choices offered. The selection includes Meditteranean (of course) but also Asian (winner!). Priced at AED 245, the Iftar is from sunset until 9pm.
For a true local feel, try the Boulevard Kitchen, from sunset till 9 PM, AED 180 (includes a delectable Ramadan buffet and soft drinks/juices and Ramadan beverages), AED 90 (children between 6 and 12 years old, complimentary for children below 5). This is followed by a live Oud player in the courtyard for the Suhoor.
The tranquil Andalucia restaurant at the St Regis, offers Arabic and Mediterranean spread with a live Oud player from sunset to 9pm daily. Ramadan tents will beset up by the pool to order drinks and sheesha in a relaxed setting. For suhoor, an a la carte menu and sheesha will be available at the Equestrian Lounge.
The residential-style enclave within Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights offers an array of native and regional dishes from the Orient and the Levant. From sunset till 10pm, AED 155 per person inclusive of soft drinks. Children ages 6 to 12 years old can dine for 50% off, kids younger than six can dine complimentary when accompanied by an adult.
There’s a minimum number of four people required to book in for Ramusake’s iftar, which is a set menu featuring an array of Japanese dishes. There’s miso soup, starters to share, gyoza and a Robata Grill dish. Starting from sunset until 9.30pm, the Iftar is priced at AED 199.
Legit excitement when I discovered that Ananta is hosting an Iftar this year! Pop down for some delish Indian cuisine at its best priced at AED 180 that will be served to your table. Expect a five course Dehlvi (Delhi?) Iftar set menu that is served on the table that includes a creative mix of traditions, geography, culture and community influences and Ramadan beverages with Indian twists! This Iftar is an absolute value for money! I even took my plus one’s Daal from his serving too!
Opt for the Nine7One majlis that offers Mediterranean and International cuisines that is priced at 195 AED per person with shisha additionally at the adjoining courtyard.
This Iftar is perfect for either an intimate space or something suitable for a grander affair. The Arabian Courtyard and Fairuz Ramadan Tent offers the Iftar buffet for AED 175 per person.
Embrace the Spirit of Ramadan in a venue transformed into a contemporary Arabian retreat. The Day and Night Ballroom is offering a lavish Iftar featuring a flavoursome Middle Eastern buffet and family favourites priced at 150 AED per person for Iftar and minimum 120 AED spend per person for Suhoor
With glittering fairy lights in a white tent and oriental entertainment, this is one Iftar you don’t want to miss! Priced at AED 210 per person, the dress code is conservative, no shorts allowed and is a non smoking Iftar from sunset until 8.30pm
